Detected Harvest Events by Field

Each point represents a harvest automatically detected for a specific field. Harvests are detected across mapped field boundaries using Digital Harvest's proprietary cloud-free processing and harvest event detection algorithms. Harvests are shown across all farms and seasons from 2023 through 2026. Harvests detected outside the normal milling window are highlighted separately.

Viewed collectively, these observations provide an objective view of harvest activity across any production area. Over multiple seasons, they also build a historical record of harvest timing for every field.

Why Digital Harvest Developed This Capability

Harvest date is a foundational field-level data point because it establishes when and where harvesting occurred across every mapped field.

Where manual harvest records already exist, harvest observations provide an independent reference that can improve confidence in reported information. Where such records do not exist, they establish a consistent field-level record of harvest activity.

Harvest timing also marks the transition from standing crop to harvested crop, providing a common reference point for understanding seasonal progress across fields, cooperatives, provinces, and entire production areas. Over time, these observations build a historical record that supports increasingly sophisticated operational and analytical workflows.
